Learn how to write code and work like a professional software developer

Overview

Are you ready to level-up your coding skills? Do you want to learn what it takes to be a professional software developer? Did you know there is more to being a paid professional than just writing code?

Come and join us for our eight week remote course and achieve our Level 7 Recognised Developer industry certification where we turn your theory into real world skills.

Together we will build a mock client project with Ruby on Rails using all the varied skills our developers use on a daily basis including how to manage client requests and expectations, project management, communication, development workflows, architecture, database design, working in a team and more. You will also have the opportunity to pair program with our developers each fortnight.

Prerequisites

You should have an understanding of general programming concepts and know Ruby on Rails. You should be able to build a Ruby on Rails application following a tutorial or even know enough to find your way on your own idea. If you don't have these skills, you have time before the course. We can recommend a long list of resources to help get your started, here are a few. If you want any additional please let us know.

Workshop Outcome

By the end of the course, you will have built a comprehensive and fully-functional web application that will form a critical part of your resume. You will have experienced all stages of a project from conception through to delivery to the client.

Cost

The cost for this course is $1,500 USD, which includes full tuition, access to mentors, pair programming with reinteractive's developers and study materials.
